Portugal is my favorite country and Lisbon is my favorite city in Europe.  My second visit to the city confirmed it.  I was also able to visit Lagos along the Southern coast and Porto, the capital of Northern Portugal.  There is still so much to see in the country that I need to return.

THE PLAN
Day 1: bus from Seville to Lagos, Portugal, walk/hike cliff side trails, overnight in Lagos
Day 2: bus to Lisbon, explore central neighborhoods, overnight in Lisbon
Day 3: visit Queluz National Palace, Belem, and LX Factory; overnight in Lisbon
Day 4: high-speed train to Porto, explore central neighborhoods, overnight in Porto
Day 5: explore riverfront areas and visit Bolsa Palace, overnight in Porto
Day 6: relax, explore Porto, late afternoon flight from Lisbon to EWR

TAP (economy): OPO-JFK
I used 30k United miles to cover the direct flight from Porto to Newark.
